* In 2009 & 2010 St Albans entered a joint team with Meldreth Croquet Club.
+ The Beds & Herts League was won by Melgrave but since this was a joint team from two clubs it was not eligible for the play-off so St. Albans as the second-placed team proceeded to the play-off instead.

The Herts & Beds League is the 'county' AC handicap league played as a round robin tournament across the season bestween ~6 teams from Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.

In addition to the Herts & Beds league the EACF runs two other leagues for the other areas in the region.  The Chairman's cup is an annual one day AC handicap competition between the winners of the three leagues to crown a regional champion.

The Longman cup is a national AC handicap knockout competition which any croquet club can enter.  Typically 30+ clubs enter.

The Secretary's Shield is a national AC handicap knockout competition between the reginal champions and the previous year's winner of the competition.  In the case of the East Anglian region its the winner of the Chairman's Cup that goes through to the Secretary's Shield in the following year.
